10 Unannounced Exclusives for the Xbox 360

If you take a long and a deep look in to Xbox 360’s line up for 2011, the only well known franchise isGears of War 3. The rest are either Kinect games or new IP’s which we are not sure how they will turn out.
Through this feature we take a look ten such games which we believe will be announced soon and will be exclusive to the Xbox 360

Halo 4

Ok, we already know that a Halo 4 is lying under the wraps somewhere and my bet is that it is going to be announced at this year’s E3. It is a well known fact that 343 Industries and not Bungie are actually working on the same. Half a year ago one of our editors spotted the CV of   Paul Ehreth, one of the employees of 343 Industries which states that he is working on the next Halo project. I am not sure how Halo will be without Bungie, but one thing is for sure the impact will be large.

Xbox 360's Dirty Secrets: 5 Things Microsoft Doesn't Want You To Know About

NowGamer: Microsoft really doesn’t want you to read this column, or know about these things; it’d much rather you just kept playing COD or something.

Look away, there’s nothing to see, move along please, do NOT read this...

Xbox Live’s closed network
It’s closed, secure and safe and that’s the way Microsoft wants to keep it - great for Microsoft, not so great for gamers. Having an open platform would put the 360 in line with the PS3 and PC. It would open it up to all sorts of weird and wonderful games currently epitomized on the PS3 with LittleBigPlanet. Cross communication with PC is the only real way the indie scene can thrive and right now Microsoft is throttling its potential. Portal 2 on the PS3 and PC is another great example of two open platforms able to communicate. With the 360 building a fence and sticking its fingers in its ears, the outside industry is simply going to pass it by; and though viruses and hacking are a possibility, the pros far out weigh the cons.

No more MMOs on 360. Ever.
This is really connected with the strict hold Microsoft has over Live and everything that it grants players access to. Like a possessive father fretting over his daughter, Live is not permitted to fraternize with MMOs. ‘But, what about Final Fantasy XI?’ Yes, one MMO made it through, simply because of Microsoft’s desperation to appeal in Japan. It’s done with that now and MMOs generally result in yet another monthly charge and whole servers full of players obsessively engrossed in one game. How they supposed to buy the latest Halo if they’re happy playing an MMO?

Sony strikes back against piracy with hidden feature

PS3-Sense writes: "Many people thought Sony didn't had a chance since the PS3's root key had been released. Some people were saying that this was the end of the PlayStation 3.

Nobody knew about it, but famous hacker SKFU has discovered this hidden feature in the PSN. The feature is meant to prevent people from playing downloaded games. We'll explain the feature.

When you buy game you'll get a serial key with it, you can use this up to 5 times. This gives Sony a signal that you are authorised to play the game and that you have a legal copy of the game. The serial key only works with the same Blu-Ray disc with the same serial number. You can read more info about this on our website.
