Activision might not shut down the PlayStation 3 Servers of Black Ops

Recently, it was stated by an Activision spoke person that they might be considering shutting down the PlayStation Network servers for the popular game Call of Duty: Black Ops. One big incentive for Activision to not shut down the servers is profit.

  1. Why would they shut down? I can imagine thousands of users are always playing online 24/7.

  6. You know, people love money. I really doubt that they would seriously consider cutting off one of the biggest moneymakers they have available. However the PSN is free is it not? Maybe they support the xbox live network more since they charge a monthly fee.
